Cheryl Ann Tweedy was born in 1983 in Newcastle and grew up in a working class area of Heaton. She has always enjoyed singing and dancing and made her breakthrough when she appeared in a commercial for British Gas, the British energy company, in 1990.The singer has launched a number of perfumes. The first fragrance to be released was StormFlower.
