Elizabeth Arden is known as a tireless entrepreneur who established her company in the American beauty industry about 100 years ago. In 1910, she opened her first salon on Fifth Avenue in New York and by the 1930s, Elizabeth Arden had opened her Red Door salons in most of the world's fashion capitals.
