Missoni

Missoni is an Italian fashion house founded in 1953, when Ottavio and Rosita Missoni started a small knitting workshop in Gallarate, not far from Rosita's hometown. They presented their first collection under the Missoni label in Milan in 1958. Above all, the name Missoni has come to be associated with stripes in various original colourways that have become a hallmark of many of Missoni's creations. Missoni reached the peak of its influence in the fashion world in the early 1970s, but has since been a role model for new generations in fashion.
