The story of the Rochas brand begins in 1925, when Marcel Rochas opens his first fashion boutique in Paris at the age of 25. He is named "Designer of the Youth" that same year. Inspired by Parisian women and their obvious femininity, Marcel Rochas created a style of clothing that was feminine yet comfortable and pleasant to wear, with a sumptuous look. In 1936 Rochas launched its first fragrance and in 1945 created Femme Eau de Parfum, which is still a classic in the Rochas fragrance range today.
