Sally Hansen was founded in New York in 1957 by Sally Hansen and her husband. The husband, a chemist by profession, created the first product, Hard as Nails, with Sally Hansen at home in the basement. A groundbreaking product that was marketed with the slogan "your nail clinic in a bottle". Since then, the brand has grown and is now the world leader in nail care and nail polish.
